Night Poems

This poetry expresses something of the beauty and excitement---and pleasures---of the night. It's probably not a coincidence that some of these also happen to be long-time favorites of mine. And, given what often happens at night, many of them are love poems.

Poetry that makes night seem a dread, undesirable, mournful, or evil time, and poems that equate nighttime with death, are not in the spirit of the night that Night People love and are not included in this collection.
